Solutions (Nobel Biocare)
One of the first Animations I was involved in during my career: amazing commercial just to show the product range of ‘Nobel Biocare,’ considering assets and abutments. Gradually, pieces are shown in their most beautiful way how to be placed in a human’s mouth and function. Quite in the center was an aesthetic approach: operations in the mouth are usually associated with gruesome pain but this feeling should be swapped and we must show a completely different side of that story although it’s quite absurd. We decided to go for a very clean and neat look which means that pieces are shown in glassy cylinders to give some order and structure. Reflections are turned off to not confuse the audience.
My part was to prepare some assets and to optimize the high poly meshes since there were so many of them. I also did a bit of the unwrapping since the GI was baked.
Post was done by a professional company out of the house. Therefore, many render elements needed to be prepared. Working hand in hand was a good first experience back then.
